Editor:
I was wondering if anyone else in this community is having difficulty in getting assistance from the district attorney's office when requesting assistance from his office. Over the past year I have sent numerous letters via the U.S. postal service to his office, the last one a certified letter. At one time I went into his office and hand delivered a letter to the clerk requesting I at least receive a response to my request for assistance on a Nevada Revised Statute I felt was enforceable in my letter of request for assistance. I presented one letter to the county administrator who told me he would deliver my request for assistance on this matter to the district attorney. I was advised by the sheriff of this county he could enforce the NRS if the DA would make a ruling on it. I sent a few emails of this same request of ruling also to the DA's office. Is it just me, or do others who request assistance of this district attorney also get no response when asking the district attorney to at least acknowledge the attempts by area residents with a reply instead of ignore a residents request of assistance on various matters concerning Humboldt county residents?
