WINNEMUCCA - A Diabetes Self Management Series will be offered free of charge to those who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes or have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and family members that support a person with diabetes or pre-diabetes.
This course will be based on the Conversation Maps produced by Merck and the Road to Health Toolkit from the National Diabetes Education Program.
The series will begin Tuesday, March 13, (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and continue every Tuesday evening until April 17 at the location of 450 Deer Lane and Muddy Road at the Grass Valley Community Center in the Winnemucca section of Pershing County.
