WINNEMUCCA - Rachelle Dennis, a 2011 Lowry High School graduate, was named to the first-team, all-conference squad for Feather River College in the Golden Valley Conference.
Dennis, a freshman guard for the women's basketball team, averaged 7.3 points and 2.3 steals per game, as she shot 40 percent from the 2-point line and 40 percent from the 3-point line. She had a game-high 13 points against College of Siskiyous, the No. 7 ranked team in northern California.
The Golden Eagles finished 6-4 in conference play this season.
Dennis was one of three players named to the first team, including 2011 Battle Mountain High School graduate Alexis Johnson. Johnson averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds a game, which included a high of 20 points against Shasta College.
