The Denio Library held its annual Make-a-Gift Day for the children of Denio and Fields, Ore. Volunteers led the children in making gifts for Christmas. This year Friends of the Library members, teachers and community volunteers helped the children make pine cone bird feeders, stained glass ornaments and crackers, fleece-tied pillows, beaded ornaments and decorated jean pockets. The event was well attended, with many gifts going home with the children. The Denio Friends of the Library also drew the winners for their fundraising raffle. The winners included Joe Gourley (19" LCD television), Chris Hodges (full size handmade quilt) and Cheri Gaines (collaged belt buckle display shelf). The Denio Library wishes to thank all the volunteers who helped with the Make-A-Gift Day and everyone who purchased tickets in the Friends of the Denio Library Raffle. Thank you for your support![[In-content Ad]]
