DENIO - Members of the Denio/Kings River Outlaws gathered in Denio on Friday, March 15, to receive awards for their hard work throughout the basketball season. Pee Wee players through the eighth grade were recognized for their efforts. Selena Lopez was named Most Improved, Estefani Barocio received the Leadership Award, Bruno Rincon received the Sportsmanship Award, Shelby Clark was Best Defense, and Layton Johnson earned MVP honors. The players were also recognized for the All Tournament selection, including Alondra Rodriguez, Gael Rincon, Layton Johnson, and Shelby Clark.
