The 2014 Winnemucca junior golf season came to an end Wednesday with the Jeff Wade memorial golf tournament, which was won by Alyssa Dendary with a round of 79. The tournament was delayed a week by poor weather.
Tatyana Carlson shot a 53 to lead the way in the girls 13- to 14-year-old division, while Lily Landt was first in the 11- to 12-year old girls division at 44.
In the girls 10 and under division, Payton Cassinelli was first at 80 and Marquette Cassinelli (83) was second.
In the boys 13- to 14-year old division, Dillon Patterson won with a 47. Kobe Stoker placed second at 50, Zane Fifield (54) was third and Zach Wolverton (70) finished fourth. Will Kracaw (71) and Caden Smith (76) were fifth and sixth, respectively.
Shae Brown bested the field in the boys 11 to-12-year-old group with a 51, with Hunter Mullins second at 52. Tyler Piquet and Max Mavity tied for third with rounds of 62 and Dylan Lutzow was fifth at 80.
Cal Peters shot a 57 to win the boys 10 and under age group. Tristan Cassinelli (60) was second with, Gianni Giordano was third at 61 and Sammy Radtke (74) and John Boyle (78) were fourth and fifth, respectively.[[In-content Ad]]
