The Lowry High School girls basketball team, the defending Division I-A state champions, took to the floor as a group for the first time on Wednesday night. The roster of five juniors and six seniors travel to Reno on Saturday to face Hug in a scrimmage. The Lady Bucks open the regular season slate on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Winter Classic in Reno. Lowry will play Reno, the defending Division I state champion and Faith Lutheran in that tournament. Lowry makes its home debut on Friday, Dec. 19, against South Tahoe.
