Danny Robert Tate, 71 years young, passed away Dec. 7, 2013, at his home in Winnemucca, Nev.
Danny was born Dec. 24, 1941 in Wayne County, Ill., to Clarence Robert and Juanita Mae Tate. He received his MBA from Southern Illinois University and served his country in the Air Force in Germany.
Danny enjoyed his private time but could be the life of the party with his sharp wit and intellect. He filled his days with tennis, basketball, pool, exercise and especially computer programming. Danny was a problem solver and troubleshooter of just about anything related to computer programming. Danny's work history included stops in Greenwich, Conn.; Golden, Colo.; and Winnemucca, Nev. Many people across the country share in grieving with Danny's family due to the loss of our friend and co-worker.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Matthews Tate. He is survived by his father Clarence Tate of Fairfield, Ill.; sister Patricia Nofftz of Tuscola, Ill.; nephew Douglas Nofftz of Mesa, Ariz.; and niece Nicole Durbin of Mattoon, Ill.
