WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County Board of Commissioners will hold special budget meetings at 8 a.m. on Monday in courthouse meeting room 201. The meeting will continue on Tuesday at 8 a.m., if necessary.
The meeting begins Monday with the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance and public comment.
Fiscal Year 2012-2013 budget workshops follow: budget overview (8:10 a.m.), Building and Grounds (8:15 a.m.), Sheriff/detention/dispatch/task force/LEPC (8:45 a.m.) and Road Department/Regional Transportation Fund (9:30 a.m.). Several departments/funds are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., including Clerk/elections/Indigent Fund/Indigent Medical Fund, Stabilization Fund/Unemployment Tax Fund/ Compensated Absences Fund, Public Defender, Health/mosquito control, Building Reserve Fund/Capital Projects Fund/Debt Service Fund, Community Support/Emergency Management/genetic marker testing, In-Lieu of Tax Fund/intergovernmental/other culture and recreation and rural street lights/other general government. That will be followed by the recorder at 11 a.m., Communications/TV (11:15 a.m.), Justice Court and Administrative Assistant Fund (1 p.m.), Assessor/Computer Systems/Technology Fund (1:10 p.m.), Planning (1:20 p.m.), District Attorney/Child Support/Check Restitution (1:30 p.m.), Library (1:45 p.m.), Winnemucca Events Complex Fund (2 p.m.), Cooperative Extension (2:30 p.m.), Building Official (2:40 p.m.) and Treasurer (2:50 p.m.).
Following a break, the 6th Judicial District is scheduled for 3 p.m., including district court, court reporters, law library, drug court and the Sixth Judicial District - Juvenile Probation. The Solid Waste Management Fund follows at 3:30 p.m., including Administrator/personnel, Humboldt Development Authority/external budget requests, the comptroller and commissioners.[[In-content Ad]]
