Plants available include evergreens, conifers and deciduous trees and shrubs. Forbs and flowers available this year are blue flax and Palmer's penstemon.
All plant materials are from the Nevada Division of Forestry Nursery in Washoe Valley and are selected for adaptability to northern Nevada's soil and climate.
You must purchase at least five of any species. The seedlings arrive in black 2.5-inch by 10-inch d-pots and t-pots and cost $3 to $4.25 per plant. The blue flax and Palmer's penstemon are in one gallon pots and cost $4 each.
Order forms are available at the Humboldt County Extension Office, 1085 Fairgrounds Road and will be taken until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27.
The plants will be ready for pickup in early May and can picked up at the 4-H Pavilion at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.
