Connie Frances Hodgden, 51, of Battle Mountain, passed away on April 9, 2012, after a short illness. Connie was born on Jan. 18, 1961, in North Las Vegas. She was a lifelong resident of Nevada and Colorado.
Connie graduated from North Las Vegas High School and held degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management as well as Medical Transcription. She was employed by the Super 8 Motel in Battle Mountain at the time of her death.
Connie loved animals and helping friends in need. She also enjoyed drawing and doing all kinds of arts and crafts and volunteering at the local food bank.
Connie was preceded in death by her Step-Father, Tony King. She is survived by her mother, Frankie King, her uncle, Vern Wilkin, of Battle Mountain, siblings Vernon King and Jeanette Lookingbill of Colorado as well as four nieces and two nephews.
Connie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Connie's honor to the charity of your choice. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 1443 Hilltop Road in Battle Mountain at 2 p.m.
