To the Editor:
Humboldt County, thank you! Several weeks ago, we asked you to support the Chris Young concert on Saturday, Aug. 30. Ticket sales were low and we worried that without sufficient support, we could not guarantee another big-name concert in the future. Thank goodness we asked for your help because you certainly came through with the support we needed.
While ticket sales were still off by a bit, there were enough of you who participated to show the Winnemucca Convention & Visitors Authority and the Agricultural District No. 3 that we want good, wholesome entertainment in Winnemucca.
You definitely sent the message that this is something you want to continue! Thanks again.
