Local emergency personnel will host the community celebration in honor of National EMS Week, which is scheduled for May 20 - 26.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, community residents are invited to stop by the ambulance station for a free hot dog barbecue, free goodies, balloons and tours of the station and emergency vehicles.
Emergency personnel also will offer free blood pressure checks as well as information on the "ice" emergency identity bracelet program.
