WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca Community Garden will hold a cleanup day on Saturday, April 20, from 1- 4 p.m. at the garden. The Community Garden is located at 151 McArthur Ave., across from Sonoma Elementary.
Workers are needed to help prepare the garden for spring planting and the upcoming event, "an afternoon of live music in the garden."
This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day and help a very worthy cause, organizers said.
Volunteers will be greatly appreciated for any time they can give during that time frame and families are welcome attend.
