WINNEMUCCA - Candace Comeau, daughter of Corey and Cheryl Comeau of Winnemucca, has been named a finalist for Nevada's 32nd Annual Homecoming Queen Selection, to be held May 5 at the Salt Lake City Hampton Inn.
Nevada's 2012 Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship, plus an all-expenses-paid trip to the National Finals to compete with the queens from other states for America's Homecoming Queen.
America's Homecoming Queen is a non-profit organization promoting education, educational travel and community service in all 50 states.
