Coble named to Division IV East second team

Lopez garners honorable mention status

WINNEMUCCA - McDermitt High School's Tyler Coble was named to the boys basketball Division IV East all-league second team, which is chosen by the league's coaches at the end of the regular season.

The Bulldogs' Saul Lopez was named to the honorable mention squad.

The first-team, all-league squad was dotted with players from four different schools. Eureka's Dakota Howard and Owyhee's Skylon McKinney were named Co-Players of the Year.

Joining them on the first team were Jackpot's Darren Hester and Narciso Camacho, Wells' Farnes Egbert and Owyhee's Braxton McKinney.

Eureka's Elmer Porter was selected as the Coach of the Year and Carlin and Eureka earned the team sportsmanship awards.

Jackpot's Bernardo Torres-Cruz and Pablo Perez, Wells' Andrew Woosley and Owyhee's Samuel Shaffer were named to the second team.

Joining Lopez on the honorable mention team were Eureka's Josh Plaskett and Kevin Podborny, Wells' Armando Soriano, Carlin's Matthew Simler and Jackpot's Jonathan Martinez.
