Cliff was born in Winnemucca, Nev., on Feb. 6, 1948, to Floyd and Lucinda Vice. He passed away on June 22, 2013, at his home in Elko, Nev.
He graduated from Humboldt County High School in Winnemucca in 1966. He worked for the Western Pacific Railroad, and later the Union Pacific Railroad, in Winnemucca and Elko, and for a brief time in Stockton. In 1971 he married JoAnn Gourley in Winnemucca, and four years later they welcomed their only child, Julie. They later divorced and Cliff never remarried..
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter Julie Vice (Susi) of Sacramento, brothers Floyd Vice (Peggy) of Reno and Curt Vice (Judy) of Sparks, sisters Fran Stade of Spanish Springs and Phylliss Fagg (Ron) of Reno and several nieces and nephews, as well as several grand nieces and nephews.
