WINNEMUCCA - The City of Winnemucca Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Nevada Department of Wildlife will conduct a fly-fishing clinic on Thursday, June 27. The class is designed for entry level thru advanced anglers.
The class will include techniques on casting, equipment information, fishing strategies, knot tying, and other important skills.
The class is free, but pre-registration is required and class size is limited to 15. The class will be held at the Youth Center, next to Memorial Swimming Pool.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment to the clinic, but equipment will be available for those without rods and reels.
Participants must be at least 10 years old. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
