City council meets Tuesday, July 15th

The Winnemucca City Council will meet Tuesday, July 15 at 2 p.m. at city hall, 90 W. Fourth Street. Councilmen will discuss and possibly take action on the following items:

• A request for temporary street closure for Fifties Fever event.

• A request for temporary street closure for Fifties Fever burn out contest.

• A request to authorize reducation of the Pleasant Center building project parking space requirements.

• Funding request for the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program.

• Proposed modifications to the terms of New Vision Development agreement with developer-property owner to share and allocate payment of costs for Great Basin Drive improvements from East Winnemucca Boulevard to Kluncy Canyon Road.

• Proposed agreement to provide professional services for the design of the Recreation Complex project.

• Proposed recreation and public purposes lease memorandum of understanding for property located on Jungo Road to be used for city sewer effluent plant purposes.

• Resolution to adopt fiscal year 2014-2015 position and salary range table.[[In-content Ad]]
