Young Life 5k Turkey Run/Walk
The council members approved a request by Young Life to use city streets for a 5K Turkey Run/Walk on Saturday, Nov. 15, pending submittal of the route map. Water and sewer for new apartments

The apartments will be located on Hanson Street near the post office. Other city offices are still reviewing the site plan and addressing concerns for access for fire trucks.
Clean Water Act issues
City Manager/Engineer Steve West said the council should write a letter of protest over the changes to Clean Water Act, which has far-reaching implications for the city's because the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers are declaring the Humboldt River as a navigable river.
The changes could affect the city's sewage treatment plant and possibly any city activity involving water.
Tree moving
West said it would cost about $8,000 to $12,000 to relocate about 15 trees from the hospital to the new fire station.
Special meeting
