LOVELOCK - The following children participated in the 2012 Annual 4th of July Kiddie Parade sponsored by the Pershing County Cattlewomen. The streets were filled with children representing their "American Idol."
The parade was led by the following members of Scout Troop 99: Jordon Gentry, Ty Gentry, Travis Gentry, Dominic Astle, Daniel Astle, JC Astle and Andy Astle.
The following children participated: Carrie Underwood - Cassidy Burke; Scotty McCreedy - Jacob Burke; American Cowboy - Niko Katsaris; American Cowgirl - Tia Katsaris.
Pershing General Hospital Olympians - Elijah Dickerman, Braylen Tupa, Lauren and Kaylee Poffenroth, Morgan and Mathew Swindlehurst, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Jonathan, Shelby and Landon Schlag-Fitzpatrick, Makayla Perkins, Brianna Miller, Adon and Riley Brown, Kimberly Hines, Landon and Lilly Anderson, Ayden Montes, Aliyan Allen, Ronnie Bonta, Landon and Emma Olson.
Duct Tape Designer - Mary Kate Millican; Future Mrs. America - Riley Soloman; Military Soldier - Joey Millican; Future Rock Star - Thayne Dotson; Future Country Star - Jasper Dotson; Rodeo Clown - Tyler Dotson; Betsy Ross - Alyse Blanchard; Olympic Runner - Kyle Blanchard; Olympic Swimmer - Devin Moura; Police Officer - Raegan Burrows; Farmer - Blake Burrows; Olympic Swimmers - Presley Burrows and Josie Crim.
All American Girl - Lynn Marie Robasciotti; All American Boy - Larry Robasciotti; Fashion Designer - Maggie King; Silver Miner - Howard Mitchell; Future Football Star - Haydon Burrows; Singer - Kati Rae Cerini; Captain American - Travis Donaldson; Airborne Officer - Zebulon Astle.
World Champions Bull Riders - Tavis and Trevor Lawrence; Firefighter - Kylee Fuller; Olympic Track and Field Stars - Dominic, Dennis and Daniel Zazhitskiy; Soldiers - Connor and Andrew Anderson; All American Girls - Isabela Rosas and Harmony Rosas; Soldier - Beau Campbell.
Each of the children received a dollar coin donated by Wells Fargo and a popsicle given by the Pershing County Cattlewomen. The American Legion Post 6 gave out American flags and cookies.
The Pershing County Cattlewomen would like to thank the children that participated in the 2012 Kiddie Parade and especially the parents that helped by having their children celebrate the 4th of July in Lovelock by representing their "American Idol."
