Cheri, 60, passed away at Renown Hospital in Reno on June 22, 2012. Cheri was born March 9, 1952, in Selma, Calif., to Richard and Glora Bachle and she was blessed to have two sons, Richie and Joey Machado, who were the light of her life. Cheri lived in Fernley with her dad, Rich, for the past 10 years working with her son Joey, establishing a construction company. Prior to that she managed commercial properties, and sold Real Estate. She was a vibrant, one of a kind person that lit up the room when she entered and people were drawn to her unique blend of intelligence, beauty and wild sense of humor (and style!). Cheri loved to dance, dream and dote on her four grandchildren whom she adored very much.
Surviving is her father Richard Bachle, of Fernley, sons Richard Machado of Gardnerville and Joseph Machado (Cyndi) of Fernley. Four grandchildren, Morgan & Makinzy of Gardnerville and Joey & Ellie of Fernley. Two sisters Krissy and Rikki Bachle of Reno, a niece Kara White of Reno, two nephews Branon White of Las Vegas and Christopher McEachern of Reno and two great nephews Braydon and Tristen White of Reno. Her mother, Glora Bachle, preceded Cheri in death Jan. 28, 2008.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date when family and friends can all get together. Cheri was loved by many and will be truly missed.
