Cub Scout Troop 890 has been collecting change to donate to Relay for Life. Hendrix Young (shown above with Troop Master Linda Whyte) had to make an early deposit. The 8-year-old old scout had collected almost $200 in change. He said his mother put one of the bottles up where she worked, but the rest of the money he collected by asking people for donations. "If I kept it, I would be a millionaire, but I would rather help fight cancer. I can become a millionaire later in my life," Young said. The rest of the troop will make their donations at the Relay for Life overnight event on July 26 at the Pershing County High School football field.[[In-content Ad]]
