Filing for national, state, and county offices is open March 3-14.

Primary election Dates:

Close of voter registration for the primary, May 20.

Early voting for the primary election May 24 - June 6.

Primary election voting day - June 10.

General election dates:

Close of voter registration for general election October 14.

Early voting for the general election Oct. 18-31

General election day - Nov. 4.

Filing for city offices will not occur until August, as the city has no primary election.

The office of mayor (four year term) - incumbent Dian Putnam and two city council seats (four year terms) - Seat 2, incumbent Doug Cain and Seat 4, incumbent Jim Billingsley are up for election. Filing for city office requires candidate to live within the city limits.
