A group of 10 local high school students and three leaders attended camp in Woodleaf, Calif., as part of the Young Life program last month. The group participated in a wide range of activities like an obstacle course, a carnival, a square dance, swimming, a mini-triathlon and a mud war. Each night, the group participated in a skit that sent a positive message to the teens. The group even faced fears by climbing a tower and jumping out of a tree. Over 400 teens attended the camp; one group even came all the way from Spain. During the camp, seven teens accepted or rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ, according to leader Lori Timko. "It was truly one of the best weeks of our lives and we would like to thank the community that stood behind us and helped get our local teens to such a life changing camp," Timko said. In support of the local group, Winger's will donate 15 percent of sales to Young Life the first Wednesday of every month.
