WINNEMUCCA - Join Nevada Outdoor School at their New Horizons Girls Camp Aug. 6 - 12. From Monday through Thursday, campers will play games, create crafts, learn Zumba and yoga and participate in a service project at the Community Garden. From Friday through Saturday, girls will explore the realm of higher education and science with a tour of the University of Nevada, Reno, and a visit to Reno's planetarium. Then, in the spirit of the Olympics and teamwork, girls will tour Squaw Valley Olympic Village and climb to new heights in a ropes course! Girls will camp two nights along Lake Tahoe and make memories of a lifetime! Call to register your camper today! Camp registration is $45 and sign ups are due by Friday, Aug. 3.
