C. Louise Andre passed away at her home on July 7, 2014. She was born to Cecil and Sybel Allen on June 21, 1936 in Clarks, La. When Louise was one year old the family moved to California. She attended Fort Bragg schools, graduating in 1954.
In 1956 Louise married Joseph Andre and moved to Mendocino, Calif., and raised her four children. She worked at the Mendocino Post Office. After Joe passed away in 1991, Louise relocated to Battle Mountain to be near her son Tom and his family. She enjoyed reading, knitting and embroidery work, watching movies and travelling. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and her parents.
Louise is survived by her children Arlene (Hank) Crandell of Grants Pass, Ore.; Gary Andre of Fort Bragg, Calif.; Tom (Lisa) Andre of Battle Mountain; Robert Andre of Albion, Calif. She also has three grandsons, Sean Crandell, Joe Andre, and Jesse Andre; sisters, Lillian Schler of Winnemucca, and Helen Allen, of Willits, Calif.
