The Lowry High School junior varsity baseball team improved to 7-3-1 on the season, with two wins in three games against Lahontan League schools this past weekend in Winnemucca.
Division I-A schools Elko, Spring Creek, Dayton, Fernley and Fallon played three games apiece in the Ruby Mountain/Lahontan League crossover. Lowry lost 9-2 to Churchill County on Friday, while coming back to knock off Fernley 9-6 later in the day. The Buckaroos closed out the weekend with a 13-3 victory over Dayton on Saturday.
Lowry travels to Carson City this weekend for games against Truckee, South Tahoe and Sparks.
