The Lowry High School junior varsity baseball team continued to stay hot this season with a three-game sweep of Spring Creek this past weekend at home in Ruby Mountain League play.
The Buckaroos were dominant in a 7-1 victory on Friday afternoon and that momentum carried into Saturday. Lowry overcame a 13-8 deficit in the seventh inning in the opener on Saturday to win 14-8. The Buckaroos closed the weekend out with a 21-11 victory in six innings in the second game of the doubleheader.
Lowry will play a intra-squad game with the varsity this Saturday at 11 a.m. The Buckaroos are back in the field on Friday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in Elko. The two schools play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m.
