WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County Board of Equalization will meet on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. in courthouse meeting room 201.
The meeting begins with the call to order, public comment and discussion and possible action on election of a vice chairman for 2012 and the approval of minutes from the March 2 meeting.
That will be followed by a review by the Assessor of the Board of Equalization Guidelines and discussion and possible action on the review and corrections of tax roll. This includes direction to the Clerk of the Board to notice property owners of an increase in their values due to a correction (if needed).
Also scheduled is discussion and possible action on the report regarding filing of appeals and the need for additional meetings/hearings. That will be followed by another opportunity for public comment.
