Bill W. Burton of Battle Mountain passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 23rd at his home. He was born in Fallon, NV on October 22, 1943. Bill worked for numerous ranches all his life. He was best known to all the cowboys as "Wood Box Willy".
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his three brothers, Bobby, Robert and Russell, and his three sisters Irene, Charlotte, and Ruby. He is survived by his wife Ruth Lee Burton, His two brothers James and Jack, and six sisters, Amy, Rosie, Reenie, Pearl, Betty, and Gloria, as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
