Bill Roy Elliott of Winnemucca passed away at Harmony Manor on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. He was born in Seattle, Wash., on March 12, 1920. He leaves behind four sons; Mike of Winnemucca, Roy and Allen of Hood River, Ore., and Grant of Yuma, Ariz. He also leaves behind two daughters; Betty Luther of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Una Clark of Houston, Texas, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Muriel, his wife of 55 years, and a son named Larry. A memorial service for Bill will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Albertson Funeral Home.
