Beverly L. Huntington, age 68, of Battle Mountain, died on June 24, 2012, at approximately 5:25 a.m. She was born on March 30, 1944, in Shelbyville, Ind. Bev had more friends than we could count. She married Ron Huntington on Feb. 6, 1998.
Her passions were God and Church, her sewing, grandkids, and helping others. She enjoyed volunteering for Horizon Hospice and the emergency food bank.
She is survived by her husband Ron Huntington, as well as her children, Samuel Steven Springer (Candie) and their children - Hannah and Jace, Shannon S. Lofthouse (John) and their children - Megan and Mandy, Step-son John O. Huntington (DeAnn) and their children, Alissa (Huntington) Hummel (Garrit) and their children, Stephani (Huntington) Siverton (Andy) and their children, Step-Daughter MeShell (Huntington) Young (Michael) and their children - Brandon Godin, Brody Young, Michaela Young, and Brendan Young. Bev had four great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Bev" to her many other honorable grandchildren.
Services will be June 28, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Battle Mountain Civic Center.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity or one of hers.
