Battle Mountain High School senior Daniel Itza has been named the co-Player of the Year in the Division III North, along with Yerington's Tyler Jones. The selections are made by the league's coaches.
The Longhorns finished the year at 18-9 and reached the Division III state championship game this past May in Reno, losing to Yerington.
Battle Mountain's Worth Nelson and Frank Peters were named to the first team.
North Tahoe's Brian Tidd was named the Coach of the Year.
Rounding out the first team was North Tahoe's Wildon Deslauries and Shane Christian, Pershing County's Scott Holland, Incline's Jack Clouthier, Tommy Thompson and Tommy Dolan, Yerington's Tyler Schlegelmilch, White Pine's Mike Williams and Silver Stage's Jessie Harper.
Battle Mountain's Jake Johnson was named to the second team.
The second team was comprised of North Tahoe's Mitchell Myers and Alex Tyler, Pershing County's Angel Ramirez and Dominic Barter, Yerington's Sam Monahan, John Lemos and Daniel Sciarani, West Wendover's Logan Gregory and Martin Dorado, White Pine's Kade Britton and Silver Stage's Seth Roberts.
Battle Mountain's Ivan Chavira was named to the honorable mention team.
