As advertised, several businesses sponsored Harvest Fest 2013 in Battle Mountain on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Local youth were invited to start their Halloween evening of trick-or-treating at the sponsoring businesses of Haney's Furniture, Wells Fargo, Battle Mountain Tire Factory, Chevron, CrazyBeautiful, The Owl Club, Pizza Factory, Atlas Towing and Recovery, Port of Subs and Quick Mart, Desert $ Stor N Mor, Conoco, Battle Mountain General Hospital and Clinic, The Flower Shop, Napa, Mills Pharmacy, Nevada Hotel, and Garden Gate Floral. The streets were filled with celebrities, superheroes, princesses, pirates, dogs, ghouls, zombies, witches, and any other characters that could be scared up to celebrate the Halloween holiday in Battle Mountain.[[In-content Ad]]
