BATTLE MOUNTAIN - The Battle Mountain High School junior varsity volleyball team closed out its season Friday with a 25-18 and 25-13 victory over White Pine on its home floor.
The Lady Longhorns finished the year 3-7 in the Ruby Mountain League and 14-11 overall.
Andresa Dinwiddie, Brooklyn Quintana and Gabby Penola each had two kills in the win, with Dinwiddie adding four aces and three digs. Kaleah Torgerson finished with six aces and Quintana six assists.
"We finished our season with some of our best volleyball," said BMHS head coach Roger Wallock. "I am really proud of these girls and how positive their attitudes were throughout the season."
