Student Council Adviser Sondra Torgerson and Battle Mountain High School students would like to thank the Battle Mountain Community for its generosity to the annual BMHS Canned Food Drive. There were 44 students who participated Dec. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. going door to door. They were able to collect 2,508 items of canned or boxed food items that were given to the Family Resource Center.
