The Battle Mountain High School boys soccer team played host to two Division I-A schools in Lowry and Elko last week. Both schools are among the best in the Ruby Mountain League. The Longhorns took on Lowry on Tuesday, Oct. 9, and lost 12-2 to the Buckaroos. The Indians came to town on Friday and beat the Longhorns 8-0. Battle Mountain hosted Rite of Passage on Tuesday and results were not available at press time. Battle Mountain hosts Spring Creek Friday at 4 p.m.
