Barry Lynn Harris passed away at Battle Mountain Hospital on Tuesday, July 8.
He was born in Covina, Calif., May 6, 1955 to Helen Josephine Obenchain Harris and Charles Wayne Harris.
Barry spent his early years in California later moving to Idaho with his family. He attended schools in the Boise area. After high school he went to work for an asphalt plant, later finding his calling as a core driller miner.
Barry married Maria Piedra in 1993 who was the love of his life. They were happy and loved their only son, Mikel. Barry was an outstanding hunter taking near record game in the Challis, Idaho region.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Maria, and their son Mikel, brothers, Wayne (Linda) Rigby, Idaho, Bruce (Cheryl) Elko, and his sister and close friend Brenda Edwards of Weiser, Idaho.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
