Sponsored by the Winnemucca Alpine Club, Northern Nevada Recreation Coalition, and the Northern Nevada ATV Association, the premier avalanche safety organization focused on the Sierra Nevada Mountains is coming to the back room at Chihuahua's Grill & Cantina on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
The speaker will be Don Triplat, executive director of SAC, and his presentation will focus on recognition of avalanche conditions for the inexperienced to advanced back-country winter enthusiasts.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Donations to any of the above mentioned organizations are welcome, but not required.
