Ashley Dawn Marriott (28), son Cody James Kilpack (8), son Cole James Kilpack (6), all perished in a fire on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011.
Ashley Marriott was born in Yerington on July 25, 1983, to Cliff Marriott of Gillette, Wyo., and Lorna Marriott of Winnemucca. Ashley attended school in Winnemucca, where she met Jeff Kilpack, the love of her life. Together they had two beautiful boys, Cody and Cole. Their first child, Cody was born Oct. 6, 2003, in Winnemucca. Their second child, Cole was born March 28, 2005. The boys attended Sonoma Heights Elementary School.
They are survived by Ashley's husband, the boys' father, Jeffrey James Kilpack. Survivors also include Ashley's mother, the boys' grandmother, Lorna Marriott, Ashley's father, the boys' grandfather, Cliff Marriott, Ashley's grandmothers and grandfathers, the boys' great grandmothers and great grandfathers, Priscella and Dale Thompson, Beth Marriott and Colene and Arlis Marriott, Ashley's sister Cassie (Ryan) Kellison, and her two brothers, Lakota and McKade, the boys' aunt and uncles. The boy's paternal grandmother is Nancy Kilpack, and the boy's paternal grandfather is Chip Kilpack. Paternal great grandparents are Pat and Jerry Quilici. Paternal great grandmother Mina Hayes. They are also survived by two paternal uncles, Derek Quilici and Adam Kilpack and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Ashley was a vibrant, happy and loving person, a wonderful and devoted mother and had a tremendous love of life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cody and Cole were happy, loving, and full of life. They enjoyed playing outside, getting dirty, and playing Legos. They also enjoyed going fishing and hunting with their dad and making cupcakes and cookies with their mom.
A service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 11:00. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at US Bank to the Jeff Kilpack Donation Fund to help with funeral costs.
