Ty Albisu was arrested Friday following a report of a domestic battery; he had two handguns on him at the time of his arrest, according to a Humboldt County Sheriff's Office release.
Humboldt County Sheriff's deputies received a call around 3:15 a.m. about a domestic battery in progress on Betty Lane that possibly involved firearms.
Upon arriving, deputies learned a female was hiding in a locked bathroom while Albisu was walking through the residence. The female believed Albisu was armed, the release said.
Deputies, with assistance from the Winnemucca Police Department, set up a perimeter around the residence and attempted to get Albisu to exit while speaking with him on the phone. He eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies after a short physical altercation.
Albisu was booked into the Humboldt County Detention Center on charges of domestic violence, battery with strangulation, false imprisonment with use of a deadly weapon and resisting a public officer.
Bail was set at $111,140.[[In-content Ad]]
