BATTLE MOUNTAIN - Eleanor Lemaire Elementary School recently announced the winners of the Little Horn of the Month award for April. The following are comments about the award winners:
Fourth grade - Kaylee Narramore: Kaylee is extremely helpful in class! She is always willing to help other students and the teacher! She brings her smile and positive attitude to school every day and is an exceptional role model to everyone! You are an amazing student, Kaylee!
Jonny Ortega: Jonny is a hard-working, focused, dedicated student. He is an excellent reader and very helpful in class. Way to go, Jonny!!
Fifth grade - Katie Taylor: Katie has "stepped it up" the past few weeks. She is focused and giving her best effort. She is always kind to others and fun to have in class.
Marcus Jury: Marcus gives his best effort on every assignment. He excels in science and is always willing to volunteer to help someone out. He is extremely organized; he works hard to meet his AR goal and has a continuous positive attitude.
Sixth grade - Autumn Thunehorst: Autumn comes daily ready to work. She is focused on doing her best and being a great class contributor. She is planning on going to the peace corps! Thanks for your fantastic attitude!
Jesus Piedra: Jesus is working incredibly hard! He is focused and giving his best work each day! Jesus has made huge improvements and is a fantastic student with a great attitude.
