Sophia Elizabeth Snyder turned 3 on Nov. 3. She shares her home with her dad Matthew and mom Anna along with other siblings. On Feb. 21, 2014, Sophia was diagnosed with a germ cell tumor. On Feb. 24 the tumor was removed along with her left ovary and fallopian tube. Fortunately, after three rounds of chemotherapy, Sophia is currently in remission.

Her current treatment is provided by UC Davis Medical Center in California in the form of monitoring her status through monthly blood draws and a CT scan every other month.

Anyone with a family member with medical issues knows that the costs involved are astounding and therefore, we join together and ask that you please donate however you can to the 10th annual Keepers of Christmas Toy Run on Dec. 13 as proceeds from this event will go to Sophia's family to help.[[In-content Ad]]
