WINNEMUCCA - It is that time of year again; the Lowry High School Art & Career Technology Departments would like to invite you to the annual Art/CTE Showcase. Please come up and stroll through the Lowry campus and visit the classrooms to see the amazing creations of your students and ours.
The Art/CTE staff is so proud of the students' accomplishments this year; they want you to see them too! While walking from building to building, stop by and purchase garden plants from their very own green house, planted and nurtured by the agriculture classes.
View a variety of projects from: art, drafting, graphic design, welding, woods, clothing, quilts and more. There will be student demonstrations in all areas represented.
The event will be held on Thursday, May 24, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on the Lowry campus. As always, visit with students and staff, as you wander through the art, science and vocational buildings to view works created in the following fields of study: Art, Agriculture, Automotive, Business, Computer, Child Development, Drafting, Foods, Textiles, Woods and Welding. See the new "Brand" newspaper, in the making.
The Northern Nevada Outdoors Magazine and Winnada-Yearbook will also be available for viewing and purchase.
