Anna Louise Baldini Myers

Our loving mother Anna Baldini Myers left to be with the Lord on Dec. 19, 2012. Anna was born in Battle Mountain on Feb. 6, 1939 to Fred and Dolores (Shovelin) Baldini. She grew up in Battle Mountain where she had many wonderful, happy memories and many good friends.

Anna attended elementary and grammar school in Battle Mountain, then she attended one of the finest college preparatory schools, the Academy of St. Mary-Of-The-Wasatch. She graduated from St. Mary's in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1957 and went on to attend the University of Nevada Reno until 1959. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

Anna married Charles Ivan Myers, of Winnemucca in 1961. Anna enjoyed being a homemaker and co-owner of several local businesses. The family moved to Wyoming in 1970 where they owned and operated Myers Construction for many years. Anna enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and the family's hobby of motorcycle riding and racing. Our sweet and loving mom enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. All her children, family, and friends loved her very very much. Any person who met Anna remembered and loved her.

The family moved back to Winnemucca in the late 1980s and continued their construction company. The family developed a subdivision in Winnemucca, with Ivan Myers' mother, Fannie Myers and the streets are named in remembrance of the several generations of the Myers family. Anna is survived by her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and several cousins. Anna was loved and cherished so much by her family and close friends.

Services for Anna Baldini Myers were held Dec. 28, 2012 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Battle Mountain.
