She embarked on her final journey to spend eternity with our Lord as her loving family was at her side on Nov. 28, 2012. She was 86 years old.
She worked as an appointed clerk of Lone Pine Judicial District for the state of California in 1954, which became Southern Inyo Judicial District in 1965. She was appointed Judge of Southern Inyo Judicial District in 1967 and retired in 1977. She worked as a clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state of Arizona from 1980-1990.
She is preceded in death by parents, Troy Clifton Taylor and Chloe Juanita Taylor; husbands Howard Clifton Denney, Richard O. Howe; grandsons, Troy Hoard Denney, Ty Clifton Denney and son Hoard Clifton Denney.
She is survived by: son Marvin James Denney and wife Judi of Lacey, Wash., daughter-in-law Maria Denney; grandchildren Tammi Rodriguez of Orovada, Nevada, Traci Pope of Ely, Nevada, Heidi Langer of Lacey Wash., Ramona Gomez of Sparks, Nevada, Gladus Tiner of Elko, Nevada, Maria Nunez of Phoenix, Ariz.; great grandchildren Troy Rodriguez, Janie Rodriguez, Tristan Syme, Lukas Denney, Noah Denney, Lillian Langer.
Her reward after she retired and moved to Winnemucca, Nevada, was doing volunteer work as a "Pink Lady" for Harmony Manor from 1997-2008 and for two years of volunteer work in Yuma, Ariz. She also served for two years on the Senior Citizen Board.
Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at 1 p.m. with graveside services to follow.
