Andrew Thomas Arvans, 28 died on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Reno. Andrew was born on May 25, 1983. He spent his childhood in Winnemucca where he attended Albert Lowry High School.
He moved to Reno after graduating from high school in 2001. Andrew was a student at Truckee Meadows Community College and was employed with AT&T. He was an avid sports fan (Go Cubs!) and fitness fanatic, enjoyed animals, and enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces. Andrew was very loved and will be remembered for his beautiful personality and charm. His family takes comfort in the fact that God has taken him into his arms so he can help guide them through any troubled times to come.
His grandfather, Tom Arvans precedes Andrew in death. Andrew is survived by his parents, Andrew George Arvans and Tammie Rae Hamblin; his siblings, Rebecca Arvans-Feeney, James Arvans, and Stacey Arvans; his significant other, Jessica Bialorucki; Jessica's family, especially Angela Bialorucki and Scott Baker; his grandmother, Betty Arvans; his nephew, Jacob Arvans, Christopher Arvans, and Seamus Feeney; his niece, Jaelyn Arvans, and several cousins, in-laws, significant others, and friends.
Andrew's memorial services were held on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at 12000 Camel Rock Drive, Reno, Nevada 89506. Andrew was a huge animal lover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Nevada Humane Society.
