Editor:
I find it interesting that the Winnemucca City Council, at its meeting on Tuesday, March 10, as reported in the Humboldt Sun, made "a request to the general public to exercise water conservation measures during the extended drought." Are they going to follow the same suggestion when they start taking our water to irrigate the 11 soccer fields and surrounding areas at the voter-opposed Boys & Girls Club? Or are they installing astro-turf? Just wondering.
