Albert L. Farnsworth, 83, of Gabbs, Nev., passed away on Oct. 22, 2013, at Mt. Grant Hospital in Hawthorne, Nev.
He was born on March 4, 1930, in Orangeville, Utah, to Grant and Rosina Farnsworth. He was a resident of Gabbs since 1959, coming from Hawthorne and Goldfield, where he attended school. He retired as a foreman from Basic Mining in Gabbs. Albert was a life member of the Gabbs Fire Department. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gabbs.
Albert Farnsworth was preceded in death by his parents and all five of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Farnsworth, of Gabbs; sons, Albert Clyde of Gabbs and Clifton Grant of Michigan; and daughter, Kathleen Sadler (David) of Winnemucca. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gunter's Funeral Home, Hawthorne. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
